By the end of this topic you will: learn different ways to use colours, shapes, times, material and appearances to describe nouns, objects, people and places.
Do you know how to describe people, subjects, objects and nouns? Sometimes we use adjectives, but we don´t know how to use them. In this activity, you will read some situations, which you have to complete in a proper form. Don’t worry if you aren’t sure about how to complete them. You will learn based on this material. This activity is just for you to remember something you might know about adjectives and modifiers.
Based on the previous material answer the following exercise, so you practice using adjectives and modifiers correctly.
It doesn't matter if some of your answers are wrong, you will practice using adjectives and modifiers to define your knowledge about them.

Adjectives are an essential part of sentences. They describe the subject and the nouns.
They are so crucial because you qualify or disqualify people and things in a sentence. That is because adjectives signal the perception and idea we have about something.
For example, in the sentence, She is adorable. We would never understand the description of her without the adjective adorable. The idea is not to understand her appearance, but also to use a modifier like very, to make a distinction.
Modifiers are always used before the noun. The mayor modifiers are, very and really.
Adjectives also show the experience, an idea of something we picture in our mind. In other words, an adjective shows how we describe a person a thing, a noun, a subject or an object. The types of adjectives are Colours, Size/Measure, Shape, Age/Time, Weather, Temperature, Texture/Touch, Materials, Appearance, Feelings & Moods.
Rule: Adjectives always go, before the noun. Adjectives do not change before a plural noun. We can also use adjectives without a noun after the verb to be.
It is essential that you learn the correct use of adjectives so that you can express your ideas more clearly and accurately.

Based on the previous activities and the knowledge you have obtained, please continue working with the following landscapes using adjectives. You can describe feelings, shapes, colours or whatever you want from the given list.
Then write sentences describing as much as you can. You need to pick up one of the three different landscapes to work on. Select two groups of the adjective categories. To complete the exercise, write a 30- 45 composition.
