Windsor town is situated outside the south west limits of London. This town gives home to Eton college, where pupils have been playing “the wall game” for more than two centuries. The field to play this game, a five-meter wide piece of land, is right next to a brick wall, thus the name. There is a ball and two teams that try to score a goal on each far end of the wall. However, the rules for this game are elaborate and have been revised from time to time since 1849. When a team wins a point they can attempt to throw a “goal”, but goals are not easy to do; no team has scored one since 1909 on St. Andrew’s Day.
