Talking about security, crime was at its lowest in 1957, so you (can) probably go out at night without any worries. Money was also not a problem, the money workers (receive) was good enough to pay rent, go out to restaurants, pay for their children’s school and even go on vacation. Company executives (earn) as much as workers thanks to unions. All in all people (feel) more optimistic in that era as statistics show. 40% of Americans felt positive about their future.
Life has changed through the years, we have (grow) in numbers, we work in different occupations, we communicate differently so we can say that every era has had its good things and bad things.
